Quick turn around. Home week night game. I think given our past two years we will be prepared. Injury wise not to bad. Georgia State escapes Kennesaw and pretty badly got it handed to them in their games with NCState and Western Michigan and Memphis. Then they turn around and OKiedoke ULM. What do you guys think? Me I am a 35-23 guy for us. Norm will post later today

Overall this shapes up to what should be a pretty interesting game. Once you get into conference play, every game is a must win game and the chance to show your team on national TV adds to the excitement. However, I think Troy has the edge in too many areas and will probably run away with this game. Prediction Troy 41; Georgia State 17

Small Update: Traveon Samuel is no longer with the team. He will use this year as a redshirt and transfer.

Small Update: Traveon Samuel is no longer with the team. He will use this year as a redshirt and transfer. My fear was he would be a cancerous addition to the team.

Small Update: Traveon Samuel is no longer with the team. He will use this year as a redshirt and transfer. How about our running back and his suspension. I agree we have done pretty well without him but still just curious. Depth is not great a RB although guys doing well...………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..AND DRUMROLL...………………………………..Norm is predicting 42-17 game with a BEAUTIFUL nite (like sitting in your living room) with temps between 80-71 during game time. Slight breeze and a little lower humidity. BEAUTIBUL is what he says but then again he is not much of a speller either.

I have NO knowledge about the suspension of Mr Samuel and Mr Henderson other than to know they were suspended indefinitely. I have NO knowledge about the requirements for their reinstatement (if that's even an option), nor do I have any knowledge about how much progress has been made by Mr Henderson toward that end. What I do have is knowledge that when the clock reads 00:00 after 4 qtrs of football this Thursday night, we will have played HALF of the 2018 regular season. We will have played it without Mr Henderson and we will have (assuming a TROJAN victory) been successful in doing so. I have no problem with giving second chances, but this is the second one of those. The season is half over, we've survived without him. Unless his reinstatement is imminent, I'm ready to move on for this season. If he meets the demands of the staff and wants to play next season, fine. Otherwise, I say we move on. It's time for Mr Henderson to decide whether he is going to fish or cut bait.

If they can’t get their acts together the team is better without them. Kudos to Coach Brown.

I watched the CNB presser... looks like Ga State is loaded on special teams which can be a big deal. Short week and it being our #6 game in a row without rest, I wouldn't call this game a gimme. I wouldn't be surprised if we win a very close one here... possibly OT.

If we continue to run our offense the entire game instead of going into “frightened turtle mode” once we get a lead, we will win by 40. State is not a good team.

Weather is going to be SPLENDED with a capital SPLEND in that 80-72 degree temps but with slightly increasing humidity will feel about the same all the way thru. No chance of rain and if there was a breeze it will be almost impossible to feel. Anyway Norm says that if you want to go out and watch atmospheric pyrotechnics (fire works) (He has been reading a Thesaurus now that he can see again) one should love Thursday nite at the annual "take your kid out and keep him out of school the next day game". Hope to see a bunch of Troy fans and at least a few of the blue clad folks.....should be fun!!!

Worst part about this game is the Braves start an hour later in the postseason. Hoping to get good cell service in the stadium. Never wanted a Braves game to start at 9:30 Pm more in my life.

The development of a nuclear device is history and sure changed our future by altering so many political moves and calculations that have been dependent upon that “history”

You didn’t understand the underlying message. Your statement would apply to anything subject. To help you, the message is just because something occurred in the past does not mean you can’t change and perform the opposite. Go Troy

DT will be running 2 TV's and skipping the game day experience for this reason. I was a Braves fan long before I graced the sidewalks of Troy Alabama.

Norm's West Coast Cousin, Khloe, is predicting clear sky's at first pitch, with temps in the low 70's....sorry no chance of rain out here! (while whispering under her breath, go Dodgers)
