Norm says a little less chance of rain but the rest is still the same I know Norm is the best and all but since I don't have a Norm, I have been using the google. The google is like... you know... the store brand kind of weather report. Anyway, normally, I would welcome more pleasant weather, but I was hoping we could use the weather as an advantage.

In my mind, I have sort of discounted the impact the humidity will have on this game. The conditions that this game is played in will be miserable, but they'll be miserable for all involved, right? Our guys have to suck in the same heavy, thick air as the Boise guys, they have to wear the same sweat saturated uniforms that, though wet, will offer no cooling relief because the air is already so wet, there will be little, if any, evaporative cooling. Same conditions for both teams, little advantage to TROY, right?
I have come to believe I am wrong. Just up the road a bit, at 2:30 today, Auburn faces Washington in Atlanta. That game will be played in Mercedes Benz Stadium, which has a retractable roof. Washington had written into the game contract that the roof will be closed. They want to play this game in conditions that are as neutral as possible. This means that the Washington decision makers see the heat and humidity as an advantage for Auburn. Likewise, I suppose, it will be an advantage for us as well. That said, I hope the temps stay in the high 80's and that the humidity at kick is in the mid 60% range and continues to rise 'til the clock reads 00:00. After all, my game day assault vehicle (as Trojan By Birth referred to his truck in another thread) has a wonderful AC and I'll be cooled off by the time I get to 231 S and am headed back to Dothan.
