We know you didn’t go to Troy but we assume in a New Brockton they still teach basic math. You try to connect dots that don’t even exist. Stop being a (unt Stop being a p*$$*

Back to topic. We need to reach the next level scheduling-wise. We have some nice home games vs Boise St, Southern Miss, NC State, Memphis, Mississippi St and Army coming up which is solid but teams like Marshall, Boise St, etc manage to sign deals with Pittsburgh, Florida St, Michigan St, Oregon, etc. Appalachian State will host South Carolina in 2025. Marshall: vs NC State (2018), Cincinnati (2019), Pittsburgh and Boise St (both in 2020), East Carolina (2021 & 2025) Boise State: BYU (2018), Florida State and BYU (2020), Oklahoma State (2021), Michigan State (2022), Oregon St (2023), Oregon (2025), Washington State (2027) Appalachian St: South Carolina (2025) We need to sign a similar deal with a bigger fb school (even if 2-for-1) like South Carolina, Ole Miss, West Virginia, Louisville, etc - and more Boise St type of deals (TCU, UCF, ECU etc). A ranked Troy team hosting a good South Carolina, Louisville team could be a nationally televised game on ESPN(1), maybe even ABC - with our recent stadium expansion, even more likely. 03 - the reason is not a fear of us but history at our house works against us. We are not a big enough name to warrant the risk of losing. A more mid level like Miss State May take a shot at us but others would just as soon not take the risk. Playing us at their house is risky enough. Okie State said they never wanted to see us on their schedule again even though the last time there close but no victory. LSU the last three times there has not been easy to say the least for them. I actually think if they get rolling again they would love for us to comeback. Our breaking their 49 in a row streak left a really sour taste in their mouths. However to come to our house an absolute no thank you from most of the big boys.

Some on your list are real candidates like Pitt but still with tough conference schedules they may avoid us all together. You don’t see a plethora of teams going to Boise and while we are in the South which would make fan travel easier I just don’t see the upside for to many of those schools except some of the better G5 guys.
