BSU fan here. I got our tickets yesterday thru your ticket office. We are going to be up fairly high in section 112. I was wondering if that section will be shaded by the press box? I was told we would probably be the only blue shirts in the entire in the section, so we can't wait to talk to some Troy fans. Also, heres a little tidbit of info that you might already be aware of. We got a grad transfer this year who was 1st team all SunBelt defense last year. Tony Lashley from Idaho. With Idaho dropping down, he transferred to BSU. From what I just read, he led the SunBelt in solo tackles last year. Sept. 1st can't get here soon enough. All fans, be safe and have a great day. Depending what row the higher as in row 20 you have a overhangthe lower will be obstructed from Sun earlier due to time of day. By being on the home side you should be fine by game time but still have shades till later. The visitor side is rough till a little later. So pregame is pretty rough over there. Enjoy your trip.

Under the upper deck and between the 25 yard lines. Only downside is there is not much breeze. Enjoy.

Anywhere in Section 112 you will be in the shade by the time the gates open (3:30). If you are any higher than Row 11, you will be under the upper deck and protected even if it should rain. The closer to the top of the Section your seats, the more likely there is to be an obstructed view of a tiny corner of the north end video board and anything high in the air. My seats are in Section 108, Row 15 (3 rows from the top). From my seats I can't see the very upper left corner of the video board without leaning forward and I can't see anything high in the air (i.e. a pregame flyover, however, I've never lost sight of a punt). The bottom line, since I know of no flyover, you won't miss a thing and if you are on Row 11 or higher, you won't even need rain gear. You bought, in my opinion, the second best seats in the house (chair backs get (+) 2 points for height and view of field, (-) 1 point for exposure to rain). Enjoy the game.

You're being generous, Buzz. On September 1, it will be BRUTAL on the visitor's side until the sun falls behind the home side seats. I had seats there for 1 season and I had to explore other options. Those seats are also brutal in November, if it's cold and windy. There's nothing to break the wind before it hits you in the face (North Endzone Building may help some there). One of the coldest TROY games I ever sat through (GMAC Bowl 2010 was the coldest), was the 1995 game vs Jax State. Temp was in mid 40's with wind out of the NW at around 15 MPH. Nasty.

Glad you guys are Trojan fans and love to read your post but with all due respect, if you guys are buying $10 game tickets that means you are not season ticket holders, right? Is $60 too much to ask for? Appreciate the support but please buy season tickets. We need season ticket holders. I live 12 hours round trip away and work Saturdays. I can attend one game a year so that rules out season tickets. Many of us purchase season tickets just to support the program. Don't make all of the home games myself these days either.

ULL game in 2008. Night game and 36 degrees at kick off. When I got to my car after the game it said 28 degrees and I couldn't feel my feet. My wife who can't take the cold to begin with was about to die.

My wife who can't take the cold to begin with was about to die. I remember that ULL game. That was the game that DuJuan Harris ran all over ULL for 200+ yards and we nearly hung 50 points on the Cajuns! It was bitterly cold. To me it was colder that night than at the GMAC Bowl the next season! Of course I was warm/hot at the GAMC Bowl because my wife and I had just run about a mile and a half from where we parked to the stadium with UnderAmour cold gear and layers of clothes and a heavy jacket after being stranded on I-10 with a flat tire and a bad spare. The wrecker service took about 2.5 hours to get to us because he was looking for us on the eastbound side of the interstate and at the wrong mile marker! By the time we got a new tire, got to the hotel room to clean up, and sped off to the game, we had missed all pre-game activities and were in a dead sprint to get to our seats for kickoff! Needless to say with all the colder on and all that running, when we got to our seats, I actually shed my outer coat and didn't feel the need to put it on until about the end of the 3rd quarter. So yea, I was colder at the ULL game the year before.
