1) GA Southern is a shell of the team they once were. 2) As has been the case all season, the defense looked really good. It took a little while for them to figure out the option, but they did and did a good job of making it ineffective. 3) Killer instinct a) We used our timeouts on defense at the end of the half and put an additional 7 on the board. HUGE! b) We converted a 4th and ten in the second half and subsequently got an additional 3 pts out of it. 4) Sumpter can kick. Sooner or later he will be tested from long range, but so far, he's been more than dependable and the team has rallied behind him. They mob him every time he puts one through. Related to this, Legassey wasn't even dressed. Since he has too much playing time to redshirt, I found this to be interesting. 5. As we all know, Anderson is a load. NOBODY who tackled him jumped right up. They paid a price for hitting him. 6. 4 penalties for 30ish yards and no turnovers. That's how you win games.
We are bowl eligible and the season remains bright.

The day for me started out rough but finished strong. Great win today and I am optimistic about Idaho.

By the way... We are a power running football team whether we accept it or not. When we run the ball we win. Anderson and Henderson aka Abrams Tank and Stryker GCV had a great day. I don't think there is a team left on our schedule that we can't run all over.

Overall a great job. Ga Southern came out and played hard. I really liked the play call to have the WR throw the ball. One small thing I have is when it was 31-16 with under two minutes left why not take a knee 3 times and run out the clock? Continuing to drive gave a small chance of a turnover. The faithful stayed till the end. Thought we would have a larger turnout considering Alabama/ Auburn both on a bye, guess that was because of the weather. Looking forward to the bus trip up to Jonesboro.

So if they know they aren’t going to use him no need to dress him. Could be wrong
