Well folks it says 80 percent chance with more steady rain later up to a quarter of an inch.....that is not much but it is enough for a whole lot of folks.....certainly hope to see a whole bunch of duck loving Troy fans on Saturday

I tweeted Lauren w/ WTVY and she said 40% with no concrete time frame yet as to when the system will come through.
I rely heavily on the local channels and all I've seen is 30%-40%

The best way to monitor the forecast is through the WSFA app, or by checking the National Weather Service forecast. It’s always sad that people allow weather to determine whether they attend or not.

There will be tons of people who hear there is a 80% chance of rain and never even look out the window, just decide not to go. That's why we bought good rain gear. It will never affect me

This is why you don't play 3 weeknight games during the season. This was supposed to be an opportunity to bring folks and let them experience the beauty of Trojan Tailgating.

You would turn down ESPN2 and ESPNU for the Wed / Thur night games and go head to head with the Iron Bowl on what will already be a bad weekend for attendance due to Thanksgiving? Sorry but I think the university is doing the best they can do with the situation they are dealt.

I don't like the arrive just before kickoff weeknight game. If you look at it from like an MBA perspective, then of course play those weeknight games and get that long paper. I'm in it for my joy and that may not be why Troy University is in it.

No doubt, I like the idea of not being rushed, but from the University's side of things. They have to do a 3.5 hour commercial when they get a chance. The Black Friday thing is gonna stink regardless!

I think I'm out for Idaho no matter how awesome we are. The SoBam game killed the rest of my work week. I didn't catch up on sleep until Saturday.

In the last 48 hours is where it becomes most accurate and if course less than that the better. The truth is could be very little and just a little cooler and that FORCAST will diminish the crowd....just unfortunate that's all

I've been around so long it's been close to that 3-4 times in the past. If the players are on the field I'm there until the final second ticks off no matter what.

I'll be there, but I'll admittedly not be happy about being cold and wet. As long as Troy gets that W, though, it'll be worth it!

Knowing that each and every game will be televised somehow makes me lazy. That walk to the fridge for a fresh beer is just too nice. Don't berate me please. I know I am part of the problem and not the resolution. But, my attendance or lack there of in no way affects my enthusiasm or my giving. Many here know this. Now if they put DT in that new endzone, now that will be different.

The buzz in the air when people start arriving. Plus, my cooler is full of fresh beer. There’s no way you would have preferred being at home for that LSU game.

It looks like 82% chance of rain with a total of about .25 inch. Is this going to be like a misting all day or will there be sloshing shoes type rain? Who is still tailgating? I'm debating on tailgating.

I'm debating on tailgating. If it truly is only a .25 inch measurement, then it will only be light rain. I would not rely heavily on that number however.

Trojans Generations will still be tailgating, rain or shine - Bloody Mary's and Mimosa Bar with Chicken and Waffles! I sat through a tornado one Homecoming and only left when they called the game. I was leaving the stadium when a man and his young son grabbed me and flung me to the ground at the tornado came over. Regarding the mid week games I wish we could limit it to 2 per season. We play Saturday, 5 days later we play Idaho, 9 days later we play Coastal and 14 days later we play Texas State. There has been no rhythm to this season for the team or tailgating.

Since you quoted cornholes response to my post, and said “same here” it appeared as if you were indirectly replying to my post. If it didn’t have anything to do with my post, why did you quote him?
