Everything clicks. We get back. We dominate this game 52-10. Hmmm, I'm clueless Bro, is that message board sarcasm???

Hmmm, I'm clueless Bro, is that message board sarcasm??? ...at its finest... Not sarcasm. My prediction that will become reality. Take your negativity to the hole. Be prepared to apologize on Sunday. Be positive people. This week we pull it all together. Dominate all three phases. We win 52-10

I am an Alum as well and Ga State will be a test. Our defense has played well all year. Our offense has struggled at times getting in the end zone. The fumbles are alarming. Our receivers have struggled catching the football - whether in traffic or running free. It's been very perplexing. College football is hard - and the kids need all the support we can give them. On this game - we should and will win if we make plays throwing, running, and catching. We have to get off man coverage - it's been a struggle all year and in our losses last year.
GO TROJANS!

There's a reason that stuff was banned in football. I saw Lester Hayes, with the Raiders. intercept a pass by sticking his arm in the arm and having the ball stick to the stick 'em on his forearm. He never put his hand on the ball. That stuff was nasty. Lester Hayes was NASTY! Nasty in his style of football, the "Human Assassin"!!! If you haven't, read his book! Yeah ... loved those Nasty Raider teams!! Seems I remember a pic of Lester Hayes and Fred Bilitni ... cough? ... standing next to each other ... looks like they dipped their arms in that stuff. It was nasty stuff ... my mom hated trying to wash my uniform back in the day! (someone got a jar and brought it to Pee-Wee practice!

Knowing Troy we will struggle unnecessarily and either hang on to win by 3 or we'll fall behind for some reason and be forced to mount a last minute comeback and someone on the message boards and will say the Trojans are back on track. Everything clicks. We get back. We dominate this game 52-10. From you mouth to God's ears! I would love to see us have a complete game! I'll also take GA ST playing poorly and giving us several turnovers! Ain't too proud!

Our D has certainly carried the team so far this year, but Conner Manning will be a test for our D-Backfield. H3ll, he's passed for almost 1000 yds the past three games. We have not been tested like this so far this season. As for our O, who knows who will show up?? Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde? At any rate, we are looking forward to checking our GaState's new digs at Ted Turner Field!!! It shall be The Varsity for noon time fare for us. Whaya have?? Whaya have??

We didn't win 52-10 but I'll settle for 34-10 and no attempted cartwheel. We should get by everyone until Ark State. If we play as well as we did this afternoon we have a real shot at winning in Jonesboro as well.

We've had two crucial wins this season; LSU and GSU. In the LSU win, we showed we could line up and win a smash mouth battle of a football game against a quality (dare I say superior) opponent. That win was huge for the confidence of our program as we continue to grow. Yesterday's win over GSU was crucial for another reason. Apart from the fact that it prevented us from having a second conference loss, it demonstrated the potential we have. Our defense once again played lights out. Our special teams, with the exception of one long return that gave GSU the ball around the 50 yd line, was exceptional. Out offense found a rhythm and rolled over a good GSU team.
While I don't mean to suggest there was no effort required to beat GSU, it was pretty obvious that the offense was moving the ball at will. This is indicative of what this team can do in this conference and it should provide some much needed confidence to this team. We need to stay focused and get better each week. We will have our hands full against stAte in Jonesboro, not to mention that the rest of our conference mates will be doing their best to beat us. We didn't forget how to play football between the LSU and South games, we just have to make sure we keep playing to our potential.

For whatever reason there is, this team "blinked" against so bammer. It shouldn't happen again this season.

Their record is not great but they just played App State extremely well. I hope we don't overlook them. They had very good success in FCS

The play calling was reminiscent of the Tony Franklin days, we even threw the ball downfield. Please keep that up, and spread the ball around even when Chunn returns. The Defense wow, these guys bend but never break.

That's good news considering GA Southern runs the triple option.

They used to run the triple option. They now run a form of spread option from the gun. It is not nearly as potent as the triple option.
