Just plain happy we finally beat them. I would have been elated to knock off any top 25 $EC team but this was a long time coming.
Sticking around for hugs and high fives was the best part.

Dear Leader said he had 895,000 reasons to be happy. I have just one big reason " we finally knocked off a big boy on the road". Go Troy!!!

Was awesome celebrating with DedicatedTrojan and Hemiman. I still don't have my voice back. Sorry/not sorry to the guy sitting in front of me that held his ears when I was screaming.

What a game!! Still haven't been able to speak above a whisper but it's worth it. Anybody else concerned about a potential let down against South? I'm having eerie deja vu to when we became nationally ranked, were getting constant publicity for a week, and then messed the bed against Ark State.

This is the same team I fully expected to go undefeated...not going to happen two years in a row.

This is my son's( A senior at Troy) facebook page post I wanted to share. He is living proof that if you raise them Troy Trojan they will be full blooded Troy Trojan.
My experience in Baton Rouge: I was there, we rocked their world for 60 minutes. score didn't even do justice to the beating we put on them. TROY Crowd was unbelievable and the emotion I felt throughout the game was crazy. I have been a TROY fan my entire life, as my parents graduated from TROY and raised me to be a TROY fan from birth because they have pride in their school. The best moment ever as a Trojan. loved watching the LSU fans empty their own stadium before game ended. Troy fans literally were louder than LSU's for most of the game. the fans of Troy brought it for 4 quarters and our football team manhandled LSU the entire game and made me ecstatic. I will never forget the day that my school the TROY Trojans took down LSU in death valley. this is what you live for as a fan, and also why it is more fun to root for schools like TROY. I love my school and look forward to many more victories but this win will live on forever. Best moment of game was when we got the interception that sealed the win for good and my thought was, "WE DID IT, we just beat LSU" and then looking around at how emotional and excited all my fellow Trojans were. GO TROY!!!

I haven't had a chance to say anything about it since I've been out of commission since Friday night (after shattering my ankle), but that was a MONSTEROUS win for Troy. Probably even bigger loss for LSU but man that was big and really puts the national spotlight on the Trojans. If they can continue this momentum for the remainder of the season and win out they could end up in a really big bowl game. Could end up being a truly special season. Hoping I can get to the point where I can cover the Battle of the Belt but its not looking likely.

We tailgated some, saw the tiger walk and Mike the tiger. We went in the souvenir store and saw plush stuffed opossums. Met a few LSU fans outside the stadium and chatted a bit. Tried to give my last beer to them so we could go in and one of them said take the rest of ours, you will need it. I popped back and said "You will be leaving at halftime looking all sad." My prediction was correct lol.
