Personally I like the cardinal matte or black the best. But I'm interested in how the cardinal chrome(metallic) looks in a combo. Possibly the so bammer game, but against GaSo would be in front of a big HC crowd...a win-win either way!

The Power T is the new identity of the program. I don't live in the state of Alabama, but the Power T on my truck gets me a "Go Troy" at least once a week. I'm a fan of every uniform combo we currently have. Just remember, it could always be worse: Those uniforms have a pocket for a can of Skoal and a built in cassette player that loops Skynard.

I dont like the all grey uniforms they wore last week. They can wear anything really, as long as they go out there and punch these corn dog bums in the mouth and bring home a win.

That’s right, Penn St. Alabama USC Texas Florida St Georgia Ohio St Michigan Norte Dame, yea they cant recruit with those boring same ole uniforms they wear each week. Please, no stud 4 star recruit will chose Troy because we mix and match our three different colored pants, shirts and helmets. We are Troy, not any of the aforementioned teams. What works for some doesn't work for all. Troy's marketing is doing fine. Largest crowds in school's history. Not everyone has embrace the run to look like all those teams. I, too, will not miss watching or attending Trojan games because of what they're wearing. Yes, we are Troy. We are not being original, we are trying to be trendy and copying the Oregon’s of the world. We need to build a brand, a look, define who we are. A cohesive uniform does this. It’s Marketing 101. When I am at watch parties and we are wearing a hodge podge of different colors from head to toe and non Troy fans comment who is playing because our unis look like some intern threw a dart to pick this weeks color arrangement, I just smh. One person asks why we wear colors that are not our primary colors ? We need to build a scheme , an identity, so everyone knows our brand when they see it. JMO. I like the power T also. It is becoming recognizeable and being related to Troy. See how that works. Now we just need unis that don’t look like a five year old dressed themselves with mismatched outfits each week. But The DISCO man is right, just win all the games and nobody will care !

The women that attended the camp this year picked the 1st combo, let the kids pick some too.

It seems we tried to copy Alabama when we went to cardinal. The colors then were bright red black and white but that was another time. We were tied to the Crimson Tide back then by our coaching history via the Red Wave monikers so the Trojans was a natural and welcomed change but I wished we would have stayed away from that Alabama shade of red! JMHO!

The grey on grey is a little much but I believe we are undefeated in that combo. Wore it at least the last 4 Military Appreciation games. (ga state in '14, ULM '15 App '16 Akron this year). But I like the grey jersey.

You turn in a 10 win season and the next you can come out in flip flops and Tommy Bahama shirts for all I care. I love Troy, I love the Power T. I feel good vibes coming from Troy University. It wasn't like this when I was there all hungover and failing.

Can we stop with Chrome now? Who are we trying to be, WKU? Chrome is the best looking helmet we wear but that’s just MY opinion. When we wear White, who are we trying to be, ULM or Penn St? When we wear red who are we trying to be, Alabama? Just look good and win the darn game. We've worn cardinal mostly continuously since 2004 and for most of our history. All three of our national championships came with cardinal helmets. So when we wear cardinal we are being ourselves. For white, I can see your point. It looked good, but 2016 was the first time we'd ever worn it.

The players like the variety and the coaches use them as a recruiting tool. Norte Dame, Georgia, Michigan have all used various “alternate” uniforms/helmets in recent years

Guess I just don’t get into the “we can’t wear any thing except what we’ve always worn” concept. Reminds me of Penn State and Alabama. Both of those are the most boring uniforms in the country. Hey, even LSU wore WHITE helmets last night. Also, why is it only football uniforms that should be relegated to one style only? Why not baseball, basketball, softball soccer, etc.? I like the change, virtually every team is doing it now. It’s a recruiting tool but it’s just my opinion and different opinions are good!👍🏼

On our trip into Death Valley from south Alabama yesterday, I asked my son a senior high school football player about this topic. He said his entire team loves the uniform options that teams like TROY offers and not the "boring and outdated" look of teams like Penn State, USC, and 2 schools that reside in Alabama. And that TROY is one of their favorite uniform combinations.
