I just received an e-mail from UPS saying I would have a package from the TROY University Athletic Department delivered tomorrow. Since I have ordered nothing else, could it be......TICKETS? 🎶 Christmas time's a comin', Christmas time's a comin, Christmas times a comin'...🎶

Last season I got my tickets on August 17. This seems a bit early.

Last season I got my tickets on August 17. This seems a bit early. I got mine late last year too, but the UPS tracking link shows that a package from the ticket office is ready for pickup. In addition, below is a link to a tweet sent out yesterday that shows the actual tickets and their packaging (branding is BIG this year). Like I said, Christmas times a comin' and it's coming early this year. HAVOC!!

I want to see the ticket design when I open them.

I have a feeling this year is going to be memorable.

Got 'em! Nice job on the design, packaging. I'm curious. If the athletic department invested in the technology required to use E tickets sent to mobile devices, a sizeable sum could be saved on printing and shipping tickets. How long would it take to recapture the capital costs incurred in doing so? After the initial capital outlay is recaptured, all money saved by not printing and shipping tickets could be used in other ways. I'm for saving money anyway we can, as long as it doesn't negatively impact the product on the fields, courts, floors etc.

They just won the contract to do the Orlando Magic for their rewards program. Maybe Troy can give them a call
