Has anybody heard of a bus trip to LSU? With it being their homecoming, I'd think an early morning leave and late return could make for a long day but doable and save on hotel rooms.

Made the bus trip to LSU in 2008 (day trip) with the Emerald Coast group in the game we can never forget. It was a fun trip and we can only imagine how jubilant that long ride home could have been. Maybe this year will be Troy's time.

We were checking the game during the reception and watched it when we got back to the hotel. That's why I HAVE to go to the game this year.

I think I finally found a friend to go to the game with me so maybe I can avoid the Amos bus. Plus, Nola is sort of out of the way...and I don't like Nola.

I just remember screaming at the top of my voice , "good grief take your time, don't throw the dang ball, let the d--- clock run, times on our side when we have the ball"!

DT and DT Sr. made a bus trip to an 11:00am kick in Gainesville back in 08 or so. A lot has changed since then. Maybe I am allowed back on the bus.
Yall have fun. I for one steer clear of Mike "Not Near as Big of a Deal as He Thinks" Amos.
As for the game. DT will be there with Mrs. DT. Take yourselves back to 2008. If the 2017 version of HCNB was calling the shots do we lose with the halftime lead we had?

I think NB learned from that game but LB has to take some of the heat also because a HC can step in when things spiral like that. Coaching is a baffling scenario sometimes. I can't remember how many high school and college games I've watched where a team Scores or gets huge yardage on a play and then never runs that play again the rest of the game but continues in futility to run certain other plays. IMO there is no comparison between NB now and the 2008-2009 NB. Anything can happen in Death Valley. We hung with a much better team than LSU in their Death Valley last year.

As we CONTINUE to Monday Morning Quarterback this game from years past, I will offer my take.
I was at that game and we can ALL agree, NOW, that we shoulda, woulda, coulda done all kinds of things differently, BUT let us not forget that THE TEAM (players, coaches, assistants, etc) STOP DOING what they had been doing in the first three quarters. We stopped catching, YACing (yards after catch) and basically executing.
You just dont DITCH the game plan because you are winning. You DITCH game plans when you are losing. To me, THAT GAME all boiled down to poor, very poor execution. We dropped a ton of passes, got caught with our backs turned on a punt return, fumbled when we had been taking care of the ball. On and on. All in the fourth quarter. To BLAME coach this and coach that and continue to BLAME is counter productive.
Why don't we STOP pointing out what WE think should have happened and START talking about THIS TEAM, THIS STAFF and how we are going to be prepared for THIS YEAR, these games, our future? We do that and maybe our expectations will be met with results we all crave.
Just a thought, be part of the "NOW" Trojan Generation and forget the past.
H A V O C !!!!!

I simply asked a question. Yes execution was THE problem but bonehead coaching was too. IMO NB is much more seasoned now and knows when to adjust and adapt even when winning. DT is looking forward to 9/30/17 much more than living in the past I assure you all. Just making general preseason ball talk is all. No need to be simmered up.

Well, this may be considered 'from the past,' but...it has to be considered a 'Redemption Road' game for the Trojans! Let's see of the 2017 Men of Troy really do "Run to the Roar!"
Go Trojans!
