Well, no 'I'm so proud'...yada, yada, yada. Just the facts.
TMTDM didn't play afraid tonight and that was huge in Ho's book. Most 15th seeds come out and play all hyped-up and retarded. Pearson's drive dunk was very TMTDMish. Vanardos play very TMTDMish as well. Not much you can do about all of the three pointers. Which makes me pine for the old days. Our style might match up in the Sunbelt but not against Top 10 teams.
Now as far as my cries earlier this season, I still stand by those as the team was dead in the water. PC would probably say that too. With that said, Cunningham got the ship turned around. No doubt, Person and Vanardo are the real deal. Vanardo reminds me a little of Anthony Reed - not over-bearing but works for everything. Hicks has a nice touch. Need some size but that's always been the story for Troy.
OK, so Cunningham has a nice group of players returning so anything short of another NCAA/NIT will be disappointing. On a side note, I would have preferred and NIT game or First Four match-up...better chance of winning one. We haven't won a DI post-season game yet, I don't think.
Great run to end the season...watched the Hawaii game live and really impressed so pretty excited about next season if they continue playing like this.
With that said, time to focus on September 30th.

agree with everything you said - we played hard, never quite and represented Troy well - very proud of our Trojans! Can't wait to be in attendance for our first game next year to pay or respect for this year and enthusiasm for the next - not only for our men but for our women as well - here his hoping we pack the Arena for a fun first night
