We couldn't pickup a recruit. That would be an NCAA violation. Ohh DT was not aware that we started giving a $hit. I'm JK'in This has been noted. Real talk.....If DT were to hit the Power Ball the NCAA would run out of copier paper when listing all the recruiting violations against Troy.

All I can say is that looking at the talent signed, along with the jucos signed, everyone better hold on! It's gonna be a fun ride! Everyone is talking about what's signing vs. What we're loosing. And where we're signing them out of. It don't matter where they come from as long as they can do the jo they are recruited for. On this I trust the coaches for picking the best talent for the needs of this team. Need to look at some things no one is thinking about... First of all, only loosing 3 of offense, all on the o'line. Everyone has forgot about Johnathan Boring. He is back. Probably power tackle on right side . offensively, we only need to worry about 2 positions. Defensively, we loose 5, including uvakious, I know the spelling sux, forgive me bud, but look what we had at the 2s. Come on, yeah Kool-aid is brewing, but after today, it's brewing with a hint of some fire and a little moonshine mixer!

[br You know kids this age will sometimes those they deal with what they want to hear at that time...because they are not sure....Plus and I could be wrong but maybe Hemi can check for me...but he is from Centralish Florida and we are not used to recruiting in that area and may not know the local dialogue as well as those further down the state...while I am kind of kidding...being near to home is a big draw He took his visit two weeks ago and verbal committed. I guess USF got him back. Hate to see it. Kid was a great lineman. The other kid I know and I can tell you it embarrassed me how Troy handled his recruitment. Great kid, great family. I literally apologized to his family for my school David, you probably won't read this since you deleted this site but you are angry that they didn't recruit Central Florida AGAIN to the level you accept but they signed one player and offered several other players there so isn't that proof they ARE recruiting "your area" and makes "your last post" inaccurate? How many do they have to sign or offer in Central Florida to get accepted by "your group" as appropriately scouting in Central Florida? It seems that it's all about that one kid. They signed a kid right up the road from you. You can't hold a gun to these kids head and make them sign with Troy. As to your friends kid, I'm sure he was good or Akron would not have signed him but Akron is no mega university of vast athletic success so maybe Troy just didn't hold him at the skill level you do. As good as he was, maybe they found someone they liked better, it happens! I just don't understand your anger, your absolute demands for things you see wrong. It's been Cunningham for this entire BB season and I thought you had finally gotten on board with Neil after declaring he was the "wrong pick because he had no experience being a WINNER as a head coach"! At that time you had a favorite coach you were pushing. David do what you gotta do with this site and your donation if you feel Troy deserved being "punished" and that's your tool to inflict it. I hope you find whatever it is you seek from Troy because life is too short for this stuff. I've was in school administration for 29 years and I played football at the same place you did and no, things don't always happen to suit me or you or anyone else for that matter. I may suggest things but then it's their jobs to do what's best, not ours. If it were MY job to do I'd do it MY WAY just like I'm sure you do your car business. Neil has never spoke out about where you go to buy cars or who you buy them from. I'm just making a point. I found that no matter what decisions a coach makes, someone in that community always finds faults and/or has better ideas. I bet when you coached they found that with you as well. Your coaching friends are expected to do what's necessary to help them win games at their schools, NB is hired to do the same at Troy. It's not necessary for Neil to sign their players just because they went to Troy. It's their job to try to help their kids get offers and that's about all they can do. That's where their jobs end. Troy never signed one of our players when I coached. Never bothered me either. Why didn't it bother me? It was not my responsibility. If Neil spent months in every school on the I-4 corridor, signed a ton of guys and finished 3-10 would you be pleased? Signing your area does not guarantee winning! I, as a former player, wants him to SIGN THE BEST DARN PLAYER HE CAN GET AT THE POSITION HE MOST NEEDS TO MAKE THE TEAM THE BEST IT CAN BE and I don't give a darn where they went to school, what state they came from or who their coach was. I'm not interested in that statistic, I'm interested in the final score of each game. When the games over if we win I'm good! Think positive my friend! Go Trojans! Cry Havoc!

There were some issues with 3 or 4 of the other recruits listed as commits on 247. They're listed in one of the other threads, I forget which one. By KY grad, I hope you mean WKY. There's a really really good grad transfer linebacker from the hilltoppers supposedly going to purdue, but if we have an in, that's a spot we're looking to fill.

Also, just wonder if any Blueshirts from last year? They would count toward this year's 25. Also just saw a safety from Niceville, Braijon Carr, was committed to us?

Saw an article where he was quoted as saying he really wanted to play both Football/Baseball! Not sure if Auburn, AL, TN are offering him that opportunity? But he was clear ... basically said he'd been given ability in both ... loved both ... and didn't want to look back and regret not continuing with both! Looking for a positive result tomorrow! Could be big day for Troy FB and BB!! Go Troy!
