I think we need some statues around the stadium so I can take selfies with them. I suggest we start with Ted Clem. First off, I get it that the man was a kicker way back in 1984 and kickers get all the hate when they miss and a little love when they make a field goal. Ted Clem made THE GREATEST field goal in Troy Football History. PERIOD. If you nail a 50 yard field goal as time expires to win a national championship, then you not only deserve a statue outside of your Alma Mater's stadium, but you deserve the first statue. Look, I don't know Ted Clem... I have never met Ted Clem... but this man needs a statue. After that... we can make statues for all the other Troy Football Greats!
PS. I was going to post a link to the 2015 media guide which talks about Ted and the 1984 team but I can't cut and paste.

If we use Troy photographers and charge a fee instead of letting folks take selfies. (think cruise ship photos), we could fund the statues with the proceeds!

If not statues ... at least more signage of some of those big moments (could take some of the "vivid memories" folks had) But, yes ... that pic of Ted Jumping up with is hands up as he and Lee Hollingsworth watch it go!! Amazing! BTW ... that gets done because of coaching too. I get so frustrated nowadays with how the multi-million $$ coaches botch clock management at end of half or game. We practiced that situation Every Day!!
