www.ourlads.com/ncaa-football-depth-charts/depth-chart/troy/92108I'm not sure how accurate this is but it will give us a good idea of where we are depth wise. Obviously a huge gap left with the 3 OL seniors but we will return 8 of 11 starters on offense. Plus the O-line rotated a good bit during the season so I think we just plug in the players we have that rotated getting experience. I am sure we may sign a JUCO OL or 2 to help but the offense looks to be in good shape. On defense, we have 2 DL and 2 LB seniors. Biggest issue is the depth at LB were seniors too so that will need to be addressed and already has been with the class we are currently putting together. The defensive end position looks a little better with some talented players already getting playing time. With that said 7 of 11 returning starters will be ready to cause HAVOC next year. Special teams leaves a void at PK and Punter as well as deep snap. I am sure we will get these holes filled. The return game looks solid as long a Jabir recovers from his ACL tear. I am excited to see these guys play together one more time and super excited about 2017.

I expect Garcia will be drafted and Lassiter could either go late or sign a free agent contract. It's tough to replace NFL caliber players. AJ Smiley should be back, that will help the D. As far as kicking goes, I don't know if Underwood can PK, but we should be fine at punter. I've seen Sumpter punt in live action at Spain Park. Sumpter played with my nephew (who BTW is a senior and was Spain Park's long snapper this season, visited for the NM St game) and he can BOOM the ball. He kicks deep, high, and quick, frequently forcing fair catches for 45 yd nets. I don't look for much, if any, fall off there.

The big question will be that linebacker core. However, i have faith that the RS FR this year and the pieces we add next year we will be fine, except for some freshman mistakes which are natural to occur

Due to the both D ends leaving on Defense, I would think we will see SR. players being moved around to file those spots. Would not be surprised to #30 Stadom move back outside to DE due to #94 Calloway has been in the starting spot in the last four games. The NG spot is well taken care with #90 Sanders and #97 Poole Anchoring down the middle. This way we would have SR across the board with a lot playing experience. If we can get the LB problem solved and continue to grow with our DB's, our defense should be as good or even better in 2017.
I feel the O Line will do just fine with the three SR starters leaving. Brown has done a great job in the past three games getting the playing time to the young and up coming linemen that will fill those spots. Our receiver core has been pretty good the past two year, need to work on ball handling and we should be as good as anyone in the Sun Belt. The running back core speaks for it-self and with Chunn returning and the injuries cleaned up we will have the best in the Sun Belt.
Over all the Trojans should be in the driver seat again next year to run for the Sun Belt Championship.

He should start at either RT or RG. Garcia is going to be difficult to replace as he was the most athletic lineman we had and a four year starter at LT. Good news is we played some freshman this year and we will have our first returning starter at center in 6 seasons.

All QBs, RBs, WRs, and TEs on the depth chart return for 2017. That's incredible. With Ismail Saleem, Jabir Frye, and Clark Quisenberry coming back from missing large parts of the season, this offense could be "big time" especially when you add in EMCCs leading receiver we just signed today in Damion Willis. Justin Wyatt and Sydney Davis could show vast improvement in their second year away from JUCO. Jamarius Henderson enters the mix at running back behind a super talented backfield in Chunn, Anderson, Frye, and Smith. Guys, we are loaded for bear. 2017 is going to be GREAT.

The duo of Jamarius Henderson and Jordan Chunn is going to be a machine that completely dismantles defenses and sends people home crying to momma.

Correct if we get a vertical passing game going and are able to throw the deep ball. Towards the end of the season we were seeing man coverage and keying on the run game. If we can stretch the field the offense will be next to impossible to stop.

Long strides, great speed, uses his height well.
