Saw that as well, it is awesome to have a staff that is recognized by others! If Houston offered CNB the job, I think he passes. He sees what next year could be and at that point he gets calls from the big boys. No offense to Houston, but I feel like we get to keep him one more year. For the record, if he were to accept a job somewhere else, GOOD FOR HIM, I'll always be a CNB fan, good guy, good coach with a good family.

Reading articles online it sounds like they are not too serious with Coach Brown. It appears Houston may prefer to promote within. I wouldn't get in a twist quite yet.

Houston is planning to invest heavily in FB, new facilities, everything. If they really want HCNB, they might be able to get him.

If he leaves, we should offer the job to Koenning, he deserves it. If not, NB might offer him a job. I am not so worried about NB leaving, I am more worried that he might take too many coaches with him.

You know when my kids were really small I would put them on those little horses in front of stores and they squeal and laugh and smile and not once until it was over did I hear them keep lamenting that the ride is going to be over soon and get sad or say as riding ...you know dad one day I am going to be tooooooo big to ride this so I like the ride but I am sad....
Folks enjoy the ride...life is full of changes and if you really like or love the guy know this...the ride will one day end and one day he will be too big for our little horse...but you never know he may fit for a while longer

Jon Sumrall or Matt Moore are the 2 on the current staff I would like to see if the inevitable comes early. Although I am not sure they are ready for HC yet.

One won a Nat championship, the other went 13-17 with no winning seasons

If NB leaves place the call to Cent Arkansas and bring Steve Campbell home. 20+ years as HC, three national championships as player and coach, never had a loosing season and they are in the second round of the FCS playoffs
