I dont think they had a a game plan for this game and if they did it sucked. Play calling was bad, execution was non existent, mental mistakes an entire team effort of suckishness. It stings and its painful, heck my 11 year old son cried this morning when I told him the final score. However, we are on the right road. Very few people if anyone really thought after where we were even last season that we would be 8-2 at this point in the season. It is a setback, but TROY football is on the rise, students and fans are buying into it, we are becoming part of the regional and national discussion. I really believe that our best days are ahead......proud of what has been accomplished by the coaching staff and this team, one game does not a season make. GO TROY!

Soooo..... when is Coach Brown going to start making good play calls? So far it has been way too conservative, which isn't smart at all. We're giving this to Arkansas State right now. As much positive that we can discuss about this team, and there is A LOT, our offensive predictability is disturbing. We are easy to scout because we give keys to our play calling (like # 45 coming in to block for a Chunn run). When Silvers has kept the ball and ran on the option he is usually very successful because they know he almost never keeps it so they can go all out on Chunn who is a beast but he's against 3-4 players so he doesn't have a reasonable chance yet he often makes yardage. After last game when Silvers kept it twice, once for a good gain and once for a TD does ANYONE recall him keeping it a single time this game? Maybe I missed it. They can let him go and put more defense in Chunn. Where was our misdirection, or passing game deep OVER THE MIDDLE? Seems as though every long pass is on the sideline. That way they can use the safety to double cover, which they did....a lot, leaving the middle open. Just saying. We've had a great year now we need to regroup and finish strong. 10-2 ain't bad!!! Go Trojans!

Agree, our play calling is starting to look like Mark Fleetwood is back as the OC.

Go Trojans! They dared us to beat them by the pass. Man coverage the whole game. I agree with you 100% on read option. If you aren't going to read it why run it. Drove me to drink with Corey Robinson. Everyone on the planet knew he wasn't going to run so why did we even run it. It is wide open and why Silvers isn't running with the ball is beyond me. If you are worried about your qb being hit why are we running the play. The defenses know this and are crashing down on Chun. We have beat the h#%% out of him this season. We have to get a vertical pass game established and be able to throw into tight spaces. We can get a OL to throw bubble screens. Learn from this game and make adjustments.
