I predict 23963..... Give or take 22
And I predict if Troy wins a few in a row and Aublow loses to LSU...their fair weather fans will not be able to watch particularly with Alacrapa...shoot our homecoming will be almost sold out and for the season our attendance will be up by about 5K due to those Aublow / Troy fans...just remind them to ditch that Aublow outfits!!!

I'll say 21k and change Band day Band Day! Good God No!!!! We need complete focus of TSOTWG on game and not playing freeze tag with high school bandites or teaching them how to tune their flutes. And please, can we not have the endless ESPN Theme Song contest until afterwards when nobody is listening.

Does Ho suggest the Chinese version of Moon River (yellow river) for the bands?

I'll say 21k and change Band day Usually 2,000-2,500 band kids plus parents which IMO adds about 3,000 to attendance. 21k will be announced with the usual 15,000 actually in the stands

Hope we have 21,000 in the stands and not just announced. Winning brings excitement. Fact!!!

There's a ton of excitement around the program right now... I got a ton of Go Troys and Troy is back to their old selves this week.
Had a couple of Barn fans tell me that they are glad they don't play us, because we'd whip their tail this year.
Yes, Ladies and gentlemen... Troy is BACK!

What I hate about announced attendance. Announced attendance at this game was 15,400 To be honest and when does that ever happen here? Those pictures were taken towards the end of another miserable season. Why is it wrong to announce tickets sold? Not distributed but sold. UAB-Mobile can't even do that with a straight face. Nobody buys or goes to their game...until TMTDM shows up. Good crowd expected tonight.

I know every school does it but it insults the intelligence of those who are in attendance. It would be nice to actually know how many people are in the stands. Other than the 2012 Mississippi State game the announced attendance and actual attendance have been different numbers

That number is fairly accurate too. I couldn't see west upper deck, but lower bowl from Section 100 all the way around to Section 208 was at least 90% full. It was the largest and most energetic crowd we've had in a LONG, LONG time.

It was the largest and most energetic crowd we've had in a LONG, LONG time. I was doing some mental calculations, looking at various sections of stadium. And my estimate was we were 75% full. We looked good on home side, student section, and the closed end zone (GA was very crowded). Really the only "empty" sections were 101, 103, 201, and 203 on the visitors side near the North end zone. If we were 75% full then that works out to 21,500 butts in seats. Pretty close the the 21,146 announced tonight. Also, I noticed that many of the high schoolers that were there for Band Day came into stadium at the North end zone side from behind the visitor's side of stadium. I don't think they ever occupied any of the seats in the stadium. Which is different than normal. Usually they fill up the GA section in the South end zone area. I did see a few band kids in these sections but not many. Wondering if they didn't come into the game and were they not part of the attendance numbers? If they came in and sat down like previous years our number would have probably pushed 22K+ on the evening.

It is already happening, had three employees to sale their Auburn tickets and two of them said they will be in Troy this weekend to watch the game. Speaking of those 'barn fans: At some point in the second half this dude (with a TROY cap on) about 7-8 rows behind me and 1 section over stands up and yells at the top of his lungs "War Eagle, whoooo!" Apparently they must have just won against LSU. Then he high-fives two or three people around him. I never saw/heard him get that excited watching TROY play. Geeez, I hate those closet 'Barners and 'Bammers that always seem to sit within earshot of me. I wanted to go punch him in the throat and tell him to watch the game that he was currently attending. Sorry, had to vent.
