The AD has done pretty well in Basketball....I went to college with the dude years ago...just not a place that will do football well .... NB will hopefully stick around for a while and skip the intermediate step and go BIG after us (and making us pretty big prior to leaving and make it hard to leave....we also need to keep Vic for a while too...the longer the both of them are here our future looks promisingThis is a must in my opinion. I pray we hold on to both of them for a long, long time.

Georgia Southern.....Playoffs,interception in the end zone, Rowell didnt have to throw it. That was bad just for the total opposite end of emotions experienced in such a short period of time. LSU meltdown was death by a thousand cuts.

LSU meltdown was death by a thousand cuts. You got THAT right! FYI, that ONE game caused me pause to question coaching, CLB on down to even OC NB. Gad, what a terrible feeling then. Even so much to influence cornhole's feeling about hiring CNB! That Trojan philosophy of "well, we keep doing what got us here", continued to get us in deep you-kno-what for years after. cornhole coined it "ugliball" for eons after! GO TROJANS!

Made me question thought of HCNB but I quickly pushed that far away when I thought of the number 5.

I too would think that it will be at least another season before NB starts getting calls he would want to answer, but obviously that depends. I hope he does well enough here to get that attention. Of course I'd also love it if he would stay for a long time and be successful like CLB was, but I think part of the reason for the length of his tenure was out of his control.

That was a dark time for DT84. A very dark time. A dark time for sure, but none darker than the week after FAU 2007. I remember watching the Hawaii/Washington game afterwards, rooting hard for Washington - a win would have placed Troy in a bowl game. They scored 3 early TDs in the game but Colt Brennan was too much for Washington's D even though then Soph. Jake Loker almost managed to turn the game around.

We are in the most positive time for Troy football in the past six years. I have no desire to revisit the bad times.

I said it before the season and I pray it doesn't happen but I think CNB will be Kentucky's first call at the end of this season (if we have a Great season) and he will be gone if it happens. If it does, I pray we can get a talented FCS winning coach. Just leave Coach Koenning!!!!

Georgia Southern.....Playoffs,interception in the end zone, Rowell didnt have to throw it. Everyone is blaming the offensive staff for not running the ball but we forget Rowell managed to give up 42 points in the final 1 1/2 quarters
