You already know how this thing is going to end...locked in a battle for the conference at the end of the season. See y'all in Paulson. And what an amazing game that will be to get a little revenge. Note to self: Troy competed with the #2 team in the land without opening up the playbook...bodes well for the rest of the season. In addition, NB just turned some heads on the national stage. Well Done Troy, players, and coaches. I heard the fans all the way back here in Alabama!

It blows my mind out of the number of articles I've read on yesterday's game and comments from people that no on wants to give Troy any credit for the way we played. They ignore the fact that we could possibly be a pretty decent team, so it seems this far, and back to our old roots of giving teams hell. People's perception and ignorance is annoying. They just assume Clemson is a horrible team, which in my honest opinion i do not think is the case, at all.

Heroic effort by the boys! I wanted to see our team compete again ... and man, they did compete!! Defense was outstanding the whole game! And, remember ... that was the Clemson offense. At least two of the TD passes for Clemson were just amazing plays by great players. Hats off to them. But, for most part ... they had to earn every inch!! Very proud of the guys. Yes, Offense struggled. And, again ... that was the Clemson Defense! Don't be surprised if their entire front 7 ... and probably they backups also ... have their names called in 1st few rounds of an NFL draft! I'm proud of the O-line. Especially the center. That was his 2nd game to play the position. Did he make mistakes ... yes. Was he over matched ... yes. But he kept fighting. So, as a team, we had a chance to win at the end AT Clemson. If you'd had told me that would happen a few months ago ... I would've taken it for sure. Love what Neal says though ... this needs to be a building block ... not an accomplishment!! As far as I know, we got out healthy ... hope we can bounce back, bean Sou. Miss. (I think that would be huge for us and the Sun Belt) and then get to what counts: Conference Championship!! Clemson: Gotta say, Clemson folks were very nice. Many people welcoming us to Clemson. Even when they were frustrated by the result, very complementary of Troy! Also, football games shouldn't be played with it's over 96 degrees!! Awful. I don't see how there weren't more heat issues! Go Trojans!!

I'm not trolling when I ask this: what was the deal with the fumble call? The refs said they blew the play dead before the ball came out. I must have watched the play 10 times online and I swear I never heard a whistle until Troy recovered and was 10 yards down the field. Was this a case of a ref waiting for the other guy to blow the play dead? Did someone forget? I don't know what happened.

It was an oh Shi# moment for an ACC crew and they fixed a big problem for the conference like they have been trained to do.

It was an oh Shi# moment for an ACC crew and they fixed a big problem for the conference like they have been trained to do. Right in front of us. Before I saw 44 come out with ball, saw ref raise hand and start moving in to mark ball..calling forward progress..but don't remember hearing him blow whistle. But when I saw replay, ball was out. Live I thought Jr stripped it, but it was out before u hear whistle in replay. Big chance there.

Can we get an admin to rename this thread with a Clemson identifier? It would be cool to reference it later in the season.
