Who all is going to this game and where are you sitting? I am going, sitting with a buddy who is an AU season ticket holder, right in the midst of the enemy camp! Will stir the pot all I can!

Even though its not your typical Auburn team (which are usually better than average) a season sweep sure would be a nice head to mount on the wall.

What a poorly played game by Troy. The steal in the 1st inning with no outs, which led to a quick end of the inning was an early sign that Troy probably wouldn't win. Bad coaching decisions, poor hitting, poor fielding, and poor pitching. Not to mention we had an outfielder that wasn't paying attention twice.
I'm ready for football season now.

Pretty much your standard post after a loss in any sport.

It was just one of those night where nothing seems to go your way.
Troy hit the ball hard about 9 different times, only for it to be right at Auburn defenders. On the flip side, Auburn benefited from some weak ground balls and choppers that were in the perfect spot. The home run by their leadoff guy wasn't a bad pitch. The kid just went down and got it below his knees.
Not defending Troy, because overall, we didn't play well; and haven't played well in the last few games. However, baseball is a very fickle game. We could very well pummel Mississippi State tonight if the roles are reversed from last night.

I just would like to see the baseball team get back to it's ways of being a top team in the conference. Troy has potential to be a very good baseball team, but they aren't doing it. I don't see Troy beating Mississippi State tonight, unfortunately. I'd love to eat crow, but I don't think Troy has good enough pitchers, much less hitters, to take down Mississippi State.

Troy has not has not played up to potential the last three games (and in spots throughout the season). There is, I believe, good potential with many of the players we have. There will be some holes to fill next year on the pitching staff. I think we will contend for a championship next year. Currently we are in a pattern of finishing first or second every other year, which, in my opinion, means we are a contender for a conference championship at least half of the time. I am not sure it is reasonable to expect more than that. The other power teams in our conference (South and Lafayette) contend at a similar rate to that of Troy.
