I think a lot of points will be scored. Hopefully we can get a couple turnovers like our defense has been doing. Hearing our defense is a little banged up. Hopefully we can get healthy this week. I think our team will be excited to play and we will continue the momentum to Georgia State!
Troy wins 45-38

At the end of a slugfest, GS scores a TD to pull within 1 and elects to play for the win rather than the tie. TMTDM stuffs the 2 pt attempt by breaking up a pass in the corner of the south endzone. TROY wins by 1, crushing the hopes and dreams of the Eagles.

It could happen again in reverse, at least one can hope so.

They do QB option read, and keep or handoff, mostly to FB. YTD: Eagles average 385 yds rush/game (35 TD's total) and 61 yds pass/game (1TD total). No. We don't know how to pass. And defending the pass seems to be like Euclidean geometry to our secondary. It's going to be a lot closer than we would like. Eagles still pull out the win. 35-24.

Defense is playing well and the offense is running more Nascar type like the Neal Brown offense we grew to love. They are staying on the field longer and giving the defense time to rest. The team is not looking ahead. They play one game at a time. If they continue that, we end up 6-6. We keep GA Southern under 30 and win.

Troy 49 GS 24
Defense is playing to good! Offense is playing to good. If they can't defend the pass, if our o-line plays well, our offense will have a field day. We will finish the game well on offense. If you listen to coach that is the emphasis on that side of the ball. This will be the statement game we wanted South Alabama to be.

Yep. The only score that is impossible in football is 1 Yes possible after regulation. But how is 35-31 a possible final after overtime ? 29-29 going into overtime. Troy gets ball first and scores TD, so 35-29. GS blocks extra point and returns for two-points; GS doesn't score in its turn in OT. 35-31.
