I thought we lost a bit of focus on both offense and defense in the third quarter. I would like to see that return here in the 4th quarter. I also think we should start playing the 2's & 3's

I know it's just NMSU but it's nice to see the guys stomp a mud hole in somebody. It's been a while.

The two best stats of the night: only 5 penalties for 27 yds and 0 turnovers. That kind of discipline will win ball games.

Were we that good or were they that bad?
I'm afraid more of the later is true.

NMSU sucks bad. But Troy did what it is suppose to do when playing a crappy team; punch it in the mouth and gut and then kicking it in the ribs and head when on the ground.
Zero doubt why Silvers is the #1 QB.
Excellent win.

Yes silvers is our #1 no doubt Ah the life of a quarterback. You're only one game away from being a hero or a zero in the fans eyes.

Yes silvers is our #1 no doubt It's NMSU It's Troy. We have five games left and he is the only QB on the roster coming back next year. The other QBs aren't good enough to bench Silvers for the last five games of their careers.

I'm worried about the QB rotation next year with only Silvers returning. Losing Minshew was big, he's tearing it up at JUCO. I'd like to see a couple big time HS QB's and a JUCO guy or a transfer from a bigger school. Dangerously thin in 2016.

I like what the coaches have lined up for signing day. NB doesn't seem to have a problem rewarding players with PT if they show up in practice and do the right things.

It was Idaho last week. You always play whose next on the schedule. All I'm saying is we shouldn't be overly excited. NMSU offered little to no resistance. When the offense plays like this against a higher quality opponent, then we have a reason for optimism

Minshew deciding to leave because he didn't win the starting job leaves me a little leery of how he would react when things don't go well on the field.

(6'3", 195lbs, 4.56). I don't believe he has been offered yet, but the staff has been in contact with him. If he receives an offer/commits you'll see it posted in the recruiting section the same day.
