Biggest game of the season tonight (and hopefully the next 2 nights)! There would be nothing better than sweeping the Jags on their home field to win the conference. Well winning the tourney would be nicer - but you get my point.

Gotta play at least one more to see if a third is needed even if you wait until Sunday. Wonder if Bobby signed off on that stupid decision?

This isn't the first time that So Ala has used their swamp of a field to ,keep from playing us. They know their history too well when it comes to playing Troy for the conference championship on their field.

Standard SoBama operating procedure. Calvi has no desire to face his boogeyman in Bobby Pierce and company.

Another Troy fan and I were talking about how we know who REALLY has the best baseball facilities now. Riddle-Pace isn't done in by a few drops of rain. We have a stadium that you can actually play the game at.

To all Trojan fans, yall need to know that the games could have been played in Mobile. The rain stopped about 4 am saturday morning.Either there is something really wrong with the drainage at stinky field. The Mobile Baybears played their game Saturday.imho Troy beat south and the best pitcher they have on Thursday, and it scared them out of their minds.Couple that with the fact that the last 2 teams to clinch a sunbelt conference regular season championship at stinky field have been from Troy.Stinky Field where Troy wins Championships on the field and south prays for rain.there was no way south was gonna play those last 2 games.now they are as giddy as little school girls claiming their championship.if Troy had to claim it that way i would be ashamed.i was kicked off the jag site for simply saying the weather was not bad enough to cancel both games and that the baybears were able to play.Unfortunately i wont be able to attend the sbc tourney in Troy.so Give them as much heck as yall can up there and Go Trojans.

No.Coach Pierce had no say in it.It is left up to the Home team.In fact Coach Pierce was informed as late as possible about the decision to cancel both games. You would think that the SBC would have an official at games to make those kinds of calls.Calvi has always ben a jerk and a coward and he shows it all the time.I know im beating a dead horse but the Baybears got their game in on Saturday, only about 10 minutes away from stinky field.

I was here in mobile. Even if we didn't play Saturday. Why couldn't we move Friday's game up to 1pm like other members in the sbc did? It was obviously showing storms that evening. It started raining around 430-5pm when the game would have ended if we played at 1pm.

A school with a vested interest in the outcome should NEVER have the total say in a cancelation, ESPECIALLY when a championship is on the line! Unexcusable!

well it is a nice bright sunny day here in Mobile.wonder if south still has the sprinklers going on stinky field.and about Calvi, lets see he pitched a fit and pushed Troy players last time we clinched at stinky and he was suspeneded this year for pushing an umpire.so yeah he is a real class act.

I could be slightly off base, but I dislike them not giving BP a shot at winning his final away series. They knew he was leaving the game after this season...best revenge is to take the tourney at home and advance.

I find it very humorous that some of their folks are stating or insinuating that they "won" a championship or "beat" us for a championship when we won the only opportunity we were given, against their ace and their closer, no less. They were lucky and opportunistic off the field, they won nothing on the field. But, the weather looks good this week in Troy so the SoAl Hags could be in real trouble!

Stupid
I'm still mad about the whole situation. I can't wait to talk to some people at the tourney about it.
Some Arkansas State fans have messaged me saying they think it's crap what went down.
