You do realize the RV lot is already s parking lot, correct? Lots of small time thinking here. Growing pains hurt. Get ready. Hemi, do you need an en-ami? Why all the hate lately? Pushing RV tail gating away from the stadium in favor of parking doesn't make sense and would distarct from the GD experience, IMO. Do you have RV envy? What growing pains are you talking about? Or will you continue with your cryptic responses? How does taking a $2500 donor lot and putting RV's in it at a cheaper price enhance the gameday experience? Do you have an RV fetish that turns you on when you see them parked in a parking lot? No envy here. Owned a 40' Bounder for several years until fuel prices made it practically a push to staying in a hotel. Growth won't be stymied by those that want Troy to cater to them and be convenient for their plans. Nothing cryptic about seeing the vision for Troy athletics in the future.

Pretty cool to see all the folks enjoying the GD experience close to the stadium. Parking is cheap and plentiful. If it becomes an issue increase off campus parking and crank up the busses. If Troy does not cater to fans it will be a sure death in this competitve world of sports entertainment. Seriously, are you OK? Your argument makes no sense. On one hand, let's inhance the GD experience then on the other hand screw the fans. I do not get it. Seriously. Again, I do not have an RV.

There will come a time in the future that you might. I hope one day that Lot two is full of donors at that level and the RV's are forced to move. It will be a sign of growth. I'm perfectly fine. Had a great time in Troy today at the basketball game.

IMO our current DA is light years ahead of his predecessor in Fan day experience. You name the sport, all has improved.
Crying over decisions 6 years ago? Living in the past?
GO TROJANS!

Just curious, but how long was Dennis the AD? Who was the AD before him? I was in school when Dennis was the AD. Have we ever had an AD leave us to go to another school?

Have we ever had an AD leave us to go to another school? 1) Too long. 2) Johnny Williams, Executive Director of the new Camellia Bowl in Montgomery, among other jobs. 3) See PCBTrojan post above above.

Johnny Williams got us the Mizzou and Iowa St home games which was kind of a big deal back then. Unfortunately, ISU was too scared to come to Troy and sent some cash instead. Steve Dennis didn't have any connections in the college sports world unlike Hartwell.

Businessman is the new model of the athletic director position. The old ball coach is a dying breed of the position.
You can't totally knock Steve's scheduling ability. He did get Miss St and Navy to Troy. Not sure who is responsible for getting Oklahoma Sy here. However, it appears clear to me that Hartwell's scheduling deals are much better for Troy.

Seen all the posts, the naysayers, the doubters, the critics. Since JH set foot on campus, things are a changin'! EVERY Troy Athletic endeavor gets JH full attention, each will be be the best it can be, or changed! It is his responsibility, his authority, his plan, his guidance and ultimately, he is accountable!! Trust me, Troy Athletics is in exceptionally good hands!!! Each new hire gets his full attention, from HC to GA!! That's a good thing!! The best is yet to come, but in the meantime, kudos to JH. This >> john-hartwell cornhole appreciate ya, man!! 04-clap2 GO TROJANS!! It's been a long football season for the Trojan Nation and we have an HC that knows this program inside and out. A modicum of leeway has been afforded to quite a few posters (for venting purposes). Heading into a new year, let's 86 the name-calling going forward. Use your maturity to communicate in a grown-up way...

But let's not have the moderator choose sides, i.e. like a post where one poster (his friend) makes fun of another poster.

On a side note: I may not see or agree with any and all, but it's about TROY...not any one individual. Take it for what it's worth.
