Just seen pics on facebook where they are tearing up the turf on the baseball field. I assume they are putting field turf back, does anyone have any update on it.

As of 3:30 pm today, they are laying new field turf down. Looks like they have about half of it laid out. Attachments:

Will the base paths remain turf or are we going with dirt? The base paths had gotten pretty worn and slick.

Looks like everything is turf except pitchers mound and warning track.

So we have gone back to a turf batter's box? It looks like it. Don't know why?? They will wear it down trying to dig in at the plate

Apparently they like the turf better. They have tried with both turf and dirt. They decided to go with turf again so I assume the coaches think it is better

So we have gone back to a turf batter's box? It was a dirt batters box last year, I hope that don't change!

GREEN OR SHADES OF GREEN ONLY!

The batters box was the first part of the old turf to wear out; I suspect the same will be true this time. It matters not to me what is dirt and what is artificial turf, as long as the Trojans win!!

And they're apparently completely finished as of late this afternoon. Saw the installer company trucks and gear leaving. There may be some fine tuning or personalizing yet to do but it looks good from what I've seen.

The new backstop looks great and I really like the "dirt" that is running along the backstop to the dugout. Looks really good.

Well "bucko", if you could read AND comprehend you would realize that I know that or I wouldn't want a NCAA rule but why read to understand when bitchin' is your intent!
