I admit ... I was pulling for a few other candidates ... guys I know well and believe would've succeeded. (Campbell, Haley, Turk, Robinson). As I've thought about it ... it's exciting that we had several good options! That's speaks well for our school/program. Now, I'm on board with Coach Brown! I want him to be crazy successful!! Because, that will mean Troy is back in the business of WINNING CHAMPIONSHIPS!!! Let's be supportive and positive ... at least for a while! So, a Challenge: let's get on board and see just how good we can be!! If you're a former player: Become a Lifetime T-Club Member!! Encourage other former players to do the same!! Buy Season Tickets! After buying the Tickets ... give some more and move up the Trojan Warrior ladder!! Most of us can't give millions ... or even thousands! But, we can do what we can do! I know I'm preaching to the choir here ... but I am excited about the Future of Troy Football!!

I like where this thread is headed!!! ME TOO! Got to make some decisions on giving now. I feel like I should help by upping my season tickets for other sports at premium level, thus taking some heat off the football budget supporting the non revinew sports. Thoughts?

I'm on board. Let's get behind Neal and return Troy to championship ball . I would love to see a huge turn out for T- Day to officially usher in the new era. Like Doc71 said, if your a former player join the T-Club, and let's all be Trojan Warriors.

Time to SHUT UP and PUT UP. Whether that is with time, money, advertising, whatever, time to circle up the wagons and make this grape vine STRONG again.

Neal is the coach and I'm behind him. Let's make him feel welcome and do all we can. Trojan Warrior fund, T-Club , tickets, support etc. I am making a commitment to being positive, optimistic and supportive. We need all Troy fans on board. We have a big hill to climb and the more we have helping to push the quicker we get to the top.

I like the hire. But gotta think this is going to be hard to fix right away. I have faith that it will turn around but things need to change on the recruiting front to fix all ofm our problems. Trust me I hope I am wrong and it gets fixed sooner rather than later. But I am happy to see Neal get his time in the spotlight.

Coach Brown has some repairs to make that will take some time.

I don't think this is going to be as long and drawn out as some think. TROY has some pretty good talent right now, but I believe we've been beaten schematically a lot. With some creative play calling on offense and a better chess master on defense and a winning season will be around the corner.

When CLB is gone, y'all say it will be a quick turnaround and we have talent. And right, y'all want to keep the guy that has not been creative with the playcalling. Ole boy network, got to love it.

Anything over 5 wins next year will be well above my expectations. We aren't very talented. The schedule next year is not conducive to a quick turnaround. Three tough road games out of conference. Plus trips to ULL and App St. It was Neal's choice to keep those people. Not mine, yours, or anyone else's on here. Like it or lump it, Neal calls the shots. I support Neal Brown.

This is Neal's shot. I think you see a coach calling the shots a lot more than LB. LB gave the asst coaches a lot of say, I think Neal will have a short leash this first year. His career rides on this

Here's a nice glimpse into Coach Brown's coaching style. I like the attention to the small things. Uncorrectrd small things turn into big problems you can't fix. I had a mentor tell me once that if you get a monkey on your back, get him off quick or else it grows into a gorilla that you won't be able to get off. I can't wait to see this team thus spring

Excited for the change! My wife and I discussed we will be budgeting next year to start supporting financially both her school and mine . So look for a new member to the Trojan Warrior club and better seating next year for us. Go Trojans.

A lot of bumps in the near future. A lot folks on here disagree with you and now say we are flush with talent. I hope the same coaches that failed to bring in the talent before, find religion and can bring it in now.

You will see the difference. LB in 91-93 was a hungrier coach than 11-14. I am really excited to see a change in culture

Just watched the presser ... Impressive young guy. I love that idea of playing/coaching with (The HC we don’t speak of) on shoulder! I believe there is enough talent to "compete"! Don't know how many games we'll win, but look forward to competing every week!! A big part of competing will be attitude/agressiveness, etc ... That (The HC we don’t speak of)!! Anytime ... Anyplace!!!!

Discipline isn't as big as some have made it out to be on here because they are heard a story. There will be some that fade was though, no doubt. Talent will need to be upgraded to get us to the next level. That will take some time.
