BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – He was one of the names mentioned at the beginning of the season as a potential replacement for departed running back Shawn Southward, but the 2013 season hasn’t quite materialized that way for Khary Franklin. When he was called upon, though, he stepped up.
Franklin converted a big third down with an 11-yard run that led to a Deon Anthony touchdown, then had a big 37-yard catch to keep a late Troy drive alive and burn more clock. He may have only had four official touches, but Franklin was proud to be able to contribute to Troy’s 32-26 win. “ I’ve been going through a couple of injuries. I had a concussion in like the second week and then I had some (other) issues,” he said. “It’s a big win for us. One more game closer to being bowl-eligible.” ( Full Article) sFi_lance

The 11 yard run was a thing of beauty. The way he bounced off defenders!
