Nothing that has not already been said around here, but found this on AL.com Troy AD John Hartwell says interest very high in Trojans' upcoming head coaching vacancy
"More than 80 people have reached out to us and you've got a whole spectrum of folks -- quite a few offensive and defensive coordinators from around the country, including some Power Five conference OCs and DCs. We have some other FBS head coaches who have reached out to us, and certainly a bunch of other assistants -- some NFL guys and some high school coaches. Certainly that's a tribute to what Larry has done the last 24 years.'' "possible candidates include Kentucky offensive coordinator Neal Brown, USC running backs coach Tommie Robinson, Georgia offensive coordinator Mike Bobo and Cincinnati offensive coordinator Eddie Gran."

I wonder where they get the list of possible candidates from?

A lot of UGA fans don't like him. Some of his offensive play calling has been questionable.
To a lot of UGA fans we would be doing them a favor by taking him off their hands.

The article has no credibility...Tommie Robinson is at Texas now.

So, who has proven to be a bulldog in recruiting? Seems to rule out high school coaches. Who can hold their players accountable? Who can put together a good staff? Hmmm, not sure those questions can be answered by a newbie coach. So, could it be coach O? Dooley? Turk? Campbell? Any other names not mentioned who have demonstrated these qualities?

When I hear "Players Coach" I think of someone that lets players do what they want. Isn't that happening now?

I agree with your first sentence. I think, though, that if that arrogance is present PRIOR to the ultra success, there's a problem. I don't know NB, but if he was arrogant when here before, I don't want him. There is a difference in confidence and arrogance. Confidence is good, but he had no grounds on which base arrogance. He was drying behind his ears when he was here before.

Below is a sure fire way to turn things around in less than 2 years. I provided the blueprint of how to achieve and examples of how to meet said criteria.
You wanna win? Here is how you do it....
1. Hire solid head coach and staff. Solution: Get patrons to drink more beer, so revenues go up. 2. Improve facilities Solution: Get patrons to drink more beer, so revenues go up. 3. Bring in recruits that make a difference Solution: Get patrons to drink more beer, so coach salaries will go up and will be willing to go out and find the players we want/need. 4. Keep John Hartwell Solution: Get patrons to drink more beer, so his salary can increase. 5. Wait until basketba..., or baseba..., or softba...Damn. Just hope things get better. Solution: Get patrons to drink more beer and forget about the problems at hand until they are fixed.
