Or maybe the didn't want to pay x amount of money to see a 1-5 Troy play like garbage and make a 1-5 App St who lost to Liberty last weekend look like one of the top teams in the Sunbelt. Also considering how poor attendance was at Homecoming last week why would you expect a big crowd this week?
If we were 5-1 would you be here? Why would I expect a decent attendance? Maybe because Troy is playing and we have fans. Just a thought I was there and all 6 of my tickets were used, but I will not put down anyone who does not want to come and watch what occurred today. I will attend the rest, but know that it will not be enjoyable other than the company of friends and family. If the team/coaches/university want anyone other than the most die hard, devout, masochist Trojans to attend games they must give them a reason to come. Painful does not begin to describe watching the team I love and support appear to not even care enough to compete to the best of their ability!

I do think it was good that LB's announcement has already been made. If not we could have seen a different type of public announcement after what was on the field today. Truly discouraging as a fan to watch the game and hear the discussions around me. Today really showed how far we have fallen over the last few years. There was tons ban about today but the worst thing I saw (or didn't see) was heart, pride, good anger, determination...they were just blaaaaaa all game long snd they lost to a team playing 3 seniors and with s freshman QB. Today we simply looked like we didn't give a d--n whether they won or not and that's worse than bad. I've not seen a Troy team this uncaring in years and that's disturbung!! Exactly. It was shameful the 84 team had to witness that. This team doesn't have 1/100 the heart of that 84 team

Everyone has a choice on what they do with their time. I am a Troy fan, I choose to watch them play... Done with this thread Maybe we should fire all the Troy fans that came out and supported the team today and hire some fans that will sit at home and complain? pc2 I have had jobs that I would not have minded being fired from. Just sayin'! I did not sit at home and complain, I was there but I certainly wasn't singing the praises of the uninspired and uninspiring team that I watched on that field today!

I just got home and have to say, that I am still disgusted by what I say today. It is sad that TROY football has fallen so far. I will always support my school but what I have seen this season is pathetic and it is showing in the stands, no one wants to pay to see this giant soup sandwich. Just awful.

All I heard from y'all all week is how Troy has turned the corner and that this team was fixing to make a run, a 7 game win streak.
Y'all for my hopes up. Yep, we started a run alright, right down to the basement.

Maybe depends on $$ what was going on with on with my family... like today. Also just a thought, 4 losing seasons tends to make people question dropping a couple hundred bucks on a game they can watch on TV at home. Btw I am in no way shape or form anything other than a Trojan fan... however being a responsible adult dictates that Troy football takes a much lower place on my importance list than providing for my family and spending quality time with them while they are here. Most on here complaining and moaning about others fans not showing up are the ones that live 15 minutes away from the stadium. Easy for them to " call out " the ones that have to drive 3,4,5 hours one way to watch our beloved Trojans get no get coaching leadership at all.

Maybe we should fire all the Troy fans that came out and supported the team today and hire some fans that will sit at home and complain? pc2 not all of us had an opportunity to be at the game today, had to work. Which group would I fall in. Not happy with outcome of game so does that make me a complainer? You need me to tell you who you are? If that's true, you have far worse problems than Troy losing a ball game.

You and several others seem to have a problem grouping people in 2 buckets. Who agrees with me and who doesn't. Personally sometimes I do and sometimes I don't agree with you. Crap that makes me a fence straddler. Guess I better work on that. Have fun at south Alabama I won't be there either, have to work. TTFN

No shame in not making a ballgame because you have to work. If you only attend games when we are winning that is a clear cut case of being a fair weather fan. I plan on enjoying my trips to SoBama, Statesboro, and Moscow. Life is too short and fragile to walk around angry about a sporting event.

I dare to think how bad the next two home games will be attendance wise. I will be there hoping for the best I'll be there hoping for..., well, I'll be there.

I'll be there too. I guess a plus side will be...short lines at concessions? Don't forget our tailgate!!!! But of course! 04-cheers I meant the plus side of low attendance will be short lines at concessions. Your tailgate is a plus for all games, regardless of attendance. 02-13-banana
